The
Moody Group of Companies has adopted Bluebell Wood Children's
Hospice as their favourite charity.
The charity was founded in 1998 and they need to raise a total
of £5.6 million for the project, having already raised
£1.75 million through corporate and community appeals.
There is no government support, so every penny has to be raised
through charitable giving.
Malcolm Wilkinson, Chief Executive of the Moody Group, said,
"We have always been helping out local charities and
Moody's, but wanted to do more. So when I heard about the
Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice appeal, it immediately took
my attention. What better cause than helping out children
in need?"
"The staff fully support the charity, and for every pound
they raise, Moody plc will donate a pound".
The Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice will provide care and
support, free of charge, to children with a life limiting
disorder, and to their families, in a way they find most suits
their needs.
