Moody Plc is helping local youngsters to benefit from specialist
science and technology facilities after supporting the
Elizabethan High School in its successful bid to become
the first Science College in Nottinghamshire.
Moody Plc, a leading supplier of processing equipment
to the food and drink industry, has made a generous £2,000

specialist science subjects such as food technology. Donations
from businesses plus government funding, will allow the school
to purchase maths and science equipment which can also be
used by the local community.
Malcolm Wilkinson, Chief Executive at Moody Plc, comments,
"We are delighted to help the school in its bid to become
a Science College. The new facilities will benefit many areas
of the local community for years to come.
Providing this specialist learning environment will help
to ensure that future generations are inspired by science
and technology and ultimately wish to pursue careers within
the area".
Lynn French, Head Teacher at The Elizabethan High School
comments: "Our specialism in science fits in well with
current initiatives to develop the local economy and recent
growth sectors such as food technology, health and logistics.
By becoming a specialist science college, we can promote
the value of enterprise, creativity and thinking skills,
as well as raise students’ aspirations and achievements".
