Moody
plc has established a joint venture with Barnsley-based heat
exchanger specialists, PJ Heat Exchanger Services. The agreement
means that Moody will now be able to provide a dedicated plate
heat exchanger service and maintenance facility to its dairy,
food and drinks industry customers within the UK and Ireland.
 PJ
Heat Exchanger Services will receive additional capital to
finance expansion and will benefit from Moody's proven management
expertise, with the opportunity to significantly increase
business opportunities within Moody's extensive client base.
Malcolm Wilkinson, Moody plc Chief Executive (right of picture),
believes the collaboration has benefits for both sides, said,
'We were keen to find a reliable and experienced partner to
provide a comprehensive service and maintenance package for
plate heat exchangers. PJ Heat Exchangers' established infrastructure
and expertise matched these needs exactly.
'We can now provide our clients with a highly professional
service - from cleaning and testing to servicing and maintenance
- at a very competitive price.'
Vince Moore, Managing Director of PJ Heat Exchangers (left

UK dairy and food industry will be a key factor in the company's
future growth.
'Having a like-minded partner of Moody's calibre will enhance
our credentials when attacking the marketplace. In return,
we can extend their markets within the pharmaceutical, chemical
and oil sectors.'
