Moody
Direct, the UK’s largest, single source supplier of
spare parts to the dairy, food and beverage industries,
has established a joint venture with RS Rittel GmbH in Germany
to offer an even wider range of products to customers.
The partnership utilises RS Rittel’s ability to provide
specialist coatings for parts. Made using hard metal and
ceramics, the coatings make components more durable, reducing
maintenance costs and downtime for customers.
Trading as RS Rittel Direct, the joint venture will be run
by newly appointed general manager, Paul Graham. Paul joins
the company with extensive experience in the coatings industry
and will be responsible for developing its business strategy
and customer base.
Speaking about his new role, Paul said: "This is an
exciting opportunity to join a unique business which has
a lot of potential to grow. Unlike other suppliers in the
industry, RS Rittel Direct will be able to offer specialist
coatings as standard on a range of parts including homogeniser
pistons, mechanical seals, cams and valves. In addition,
by providing extra durability, the parts can be used in
a wide range of applications which means other industries,
such as oil production, may benefit."
Paul will be based at Moody’s head office in Retford,
Nottinghamshire and can be contacted at paul.graham@rsritteldirect.com
