Alfred & Co have launched the new MF-600, a low capacity freezer for the premium ice cream sector that equals the quality and control levels of large freezer systems but in a much smaller unit.
Developed and manufactured by WCB Denmark using Crepaco technical experience, the resulting MF-600 is easy to use, cost effective and safe. Furthermore it is easy to clean, is fully CIP compatible and requires very low maintenance.
Superior overrun control is achieved through use of a product discharge pump that virtually eliminates variations.
In addition, the two-pump system (Crepaco style CP-pumps are fitted as standard) allows accurate flow control and stable cylinder pressure.
Another key element of self contained freezers like the MF-600 is the refrigeration system. The MF freezer differs from others on the market by offering not only a partially flooded barrel, but also suction pressure regulation rather than the less accurate hot gas system.
The machine utilises a Danfoss control valve, enabling the operator to fine-tune the capacity and refrigeration parameters to an optimum. Accurate and stable refrigeration control is a very important factor influencing the quality of ice cream. The intuitive yet powerful control system is operated through a graphical touch screen display making the freezer extremely user friendly.
Last but not least the unique design of the dasher, which whips air into the ice cream mix, is also worth mentioning. There is a choice of two dashers suitable to all varieties of frozen product formulations, viscosities, textures and overruns.
The MF series of freezers are leading examples of advanced ice cream processing solutions for today’s market. The MF-600 is available immediately from Alfred & Co in the UK.
